Adam Gorode is the Co-Founder and CEO of AGW.
Gorode co-leads the award winning agency’s creative vision and growth, working with iconic companies that include Condé Nast, Red Bull, Dots, Armani Exchange, MTV, Mother New York, and ’47 among others.
Under Gorode’s leadership AGW has gained notoriety for their unique ability to engineer brands’ participation in elusive cultural circles earning the company over 11 awards in the last year, including a Webby and a Clio for their work with HBO, and a Mashable Mashie for their work with Target.
Prior to founding AGW, Gorode worked with agencies and Fortune 500 companies, crafting digital strategies that helped his clients adapt to the emergence of multichannel networks and shifting consumer behaviors.
Gorode's career started at Syracuse University, where he studied music business and moonlighted as a concert promoter booking Kanye West, Snoop Dogg, and several dozen acts to campus. Gorode recognized early on that social media and mobile technology would upend industries and expanded his focus beyond music to create a company equipped to take advantage of the new landscape, in pursuit of fostering richer exchanges between culture creators and brands.
Katie Witkin is the Co-Founder and COO of AGW, a cultural marketing and integrated communication agency. Witkin co-founded AGW In 2013 at the age of 25. Over the past six years, Witkin’s been one of the driving forces behind the agency’s success, attracting an impressive client roster including brands like Condé Nast, HBO, Red Bull, Vinyl Me, Please, Lonely Whale, Armani Exchange, Mother New York, and ’47 among others.
Named Bulldog Awards’ ‘2016 Small Agency of the Year’, AGW has received many industry honors under Witkin’s leadership, including a Platinum MarCom Award for the agency’s work with environmental incubator, Lonely Whale, a Webby and Clio with HBO, as well as, a Mashable Mashie Award and several Hermes Creative Awards.
Witkin currently sits as a member of the IADAS and had served as an Associate Judge for the Webby Awards the past two years. Witkin’s professional accomplishments in marketing have also resulted in her being featured in prominent outlets including Entrepreneur, Forbes, Huffington Post, Adweek, Digiday, Inc., and more.
Prior to co-founding AGW, Witkin began her career at Sony as a Sony College Marketing Representative at the University of Wisconsin - Madison where she earned her B.A. at the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She later took on social media leadership roles at music digital marketing agency, Sneak Attack Media, music subscription service, eMusic, and The New Music Seminar. During this time Witkin also founded Music Default, a music newsletter that discovered and distributed new music to its loyal subscribers for five years.
